Most software packages require that your credit line accounts be set up as credit card accounts. If you have not already set up your credit line(s) your software will recognize the new account as a credit line, and record it as such. When you download your credit line(s) transactions for the first time, you will have the option to use an existing account or set up a new account. ‡ RBC Royal Bank does not provide support for third party software, including Quicken, QuickBooks, Microsoft ®1 Money, and Makisoft. eStatements cannot be downloaded to financial software. For credit cards accounts, you can download your current activity and your last statement. The appropriate software must be loaded in your personal computer for the download function to work.ġFor most types of accounts, you can download everything in the transaction history found on your Account Balances page – between 90 and 120 days of transactions.

I know both sites have users that have requested this. I don't understand why Mint/Yodlee and QO haven't implemented this yet. Plus, having the ability to upload OFX files manually would help with the crowd that is uncomfortable with providing their bank login information to a third party.

Wesabe and Geezeo both provide this feature. So without the ability to manually create accounts and upload that information, I really, honestly, can't use either of them.

Yet my bank does provide OFX files with history for free download. My main bank, a credit union, is not supported at all by Mint/Yodlee, and only partially supported by QO (the savings and checking account works, but the credit card I use all the time does not).

And yes, I have requested support on both sites, but it takes a while, and since the institutions are small, they're (understandably) put at a low priority. I use smaller credit unions whenever possible (just a personal preference) and these types of smaller institutions normally aren't supported. Yes, QO and Mint/Yodlee support thousands of banks, but there are 10's of thousands of banks out there.
